Yeah definitely much better IMO because of the new driver layout, the mids and bass are centered and the two (stereo) tweeters are symmetrical as well

@@AudioCuriosity speaking of flip 6 my parents have one and I've made a few videos but I can't use it anymore because they think I'm gonna break it for some reason. Trust issues I guess but the store we went to when we bought it had brand new Xtreme 2's which was interesting

I think it's been discontinued for a long time now, you can probably only find it in used condition.

I tested this today and I can't notice any audio latency. There shouldn't be anyway with a wired connection.

Im Ableton user I thought I can use my own DSP so without pushing to much it can maybe survive right? Also how about the Charge 5 , in my local 5 is more cheper? Have you ever tested?

Yeah you should be able to use your own sound processing without issues as long as it's not some crazy 24dB bass boost and high volume. Also, for better bass extension with dsp disabled, I recommend sealing one of the passive radiators, hear the effect in my video ruclips.net/video/FppU0COJ_so/видео.html . About the Charge 5, I don't think it's possible to disable it's DSP like with the 4. Might be achievable something similar with the phone set to Mono output but I'm not sure. So if disabling the DSP is important to you Charge 4 is the right model.

Theoretically it should be possible to increase battery capacity simply by adding one or two cells in Parallel with the existing one. But it's highly recommended to use the exact same model as the original and also make sure it's genuine as well, not fake brand cell. It requires a bit of soldering and DIY but I think it's possible.

It's the first step into actually opening the speaker if there are some issues with it. Or to simply watch the tiny driver and passive radiator move :)

It can indeed cause damage if not done with caution, I mentioned this in a comment bellow which I now pinned! I just say low frequency mode simply because that's how this mode is known in the community.

I agree that getting a Charge instead wouldn't really be an upgrade. If size isn't that important then see if you can find a Harman Kardon Onyx Studio 7 or 8, I have the 7 and it's bass is really impressive and has stereo tweeters too. I've also heard good things about the new Go Play 3 but that might be too expensive. And look for Harman Kardon Citation 200 if you can still find one at a reduced price, that's also a compact bass beast.

of course it does.. use headphones and hear it yourself. for this to work your speaker has to be in LFM, play a bass boosted song and cover one passive radiator, you'll hear the difference in the low frequencies

Just checked, I get same speeds with both NTFS or exFAT which is 277 read and 35 write but on my main PC I get 254 read which is a bit weird. On both I use USBC connection directly, without an adapter. Also, not sure why in this video I got 304, maybe the heat tests I've made after this affected the drive a bit. What speeds do you get?
